Art has spent more than forty years in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.  He began as a research scientist in the laboratories and later served in executive management roles for international drug discovery programs and early development of new products.  In his work, Art has been inventor or co-inventor of numerous patented technologies.  Today, he consults in the industry and serves on the Board of Directors for several small biotech companies.  Art graduated from Princeton University and has MS and PhD degrees from New York University.
