“Nadine” is Afiri’s Director of Community Development, a position that recognizes her unfailing energy and leadership in building the village from its earliest days. Her work includes project and financial management, plus team leadership. Nadine’s vision created Afiri’s Women’s Business Program, including its Vegetable Garden and its goal of making the village food-independent. She runs the village’s daily projects, complementing her creative planning skills with the important work of organizing and cooking meals, and creating social activities for the people of the village.
