Pumps, Pipes, and Solar Panels

Bringing water from deep in the rocks below Afiri to the surface is a great accomplishment. Getting it from the well head to where people can use it is another big step. Electrical pumps, powered by solar energy stored in batteries, are the green solution the village has chosen for managing its water supply.
